Awards Banquet
The NMDA 2009 Member Dinner and Awards Banquet was held on Saturday, November 14th at Scalo’s Northern Italian Grill. About 60 NMDA members, friends and family attended. A fun time was had by all with lots of laughter and sharing of stories and a chance to recognize our Champions and Reserve Champions this year. Check out the photos of the event below.
Many thanks are due to the Awards Committee, chaired by Randi Phillips and including Barbara Burkhardt, Cindy Kavan-Winfiled and Sean Cunnimgham. Cindy put together a fantastic slide show with photos from all the schooling shows this year. Barbara gathered all the scores and calculated the awards results. Sean helped us find the location. Also assisting at the event was Virginia Gredell. Special thanks also to Dan’s Boots and Saddles and Donald Simpson for donating the prizes. And thanks to Beth Frilling and the Insurance Exchange for the donation of a week at their the condo in Hawaii – the silent auction raised $525 that we can use for educational programs for our members. Additional thanks to Denai Meyer for taking the photos!
The Champions received a beautiful embroidered green flannel half sheet and the Reserve Champions received an embroidered white saddle pad and of course, everyone got ribbons. Congratulations to all and to all the volunteers who make this Club possible!
