Fellow NMDA Members and Friends:
The NMDA 2007 show season has been successful, thanks in large part to the
generous participation by most members in NMDA’s Save Our Shows (SOS)
program. As we have reviewed the data on the 2007 show season, and the known
costs for 2008, we know that your support will be essential for our 2008 show
season. Your board of directors is continuing the SOS program -- Support Our
Shows. Please review the enclosed information which outlines both the issues and
their solution. To continue our shows, we need your help. Please read the facts on
the enclosed flyer, and then help NMDA as much as you can.
In March 2008, the club plans to hold its recognized show as 2 one-day shows.
This will also be done at the October show. This means that there will be 4 shows
to qualify for Regional Championships and for All-Breed awards in 2008. The
October 2008 2-day show will offer 2 chances to qualify for the 2009 show season.
As the season for giving is approaching, I am asking that you include NMDA in
your generosity this year. If you know of any businesses interested in promoting
themselves to our membership, please let them know about our sponsorship levels.
